Katie Murray is a photographer and video artist. She has exhibited nationally and internationally in solo and group exhibitions to include: TOPS Gallery, The Barbara Walters Gallery at Sarah Lawrence College, The Photographers’ Gallery, The Museum of Contemporary Photography, World Class Boxing, Kate Werble Gallery, White Columns, Queens Museum of Art, and The Yale Art Gallery. She the recipient of the New York State Residents Grant for Excellence in Photography, the Robin Forbes Memorial Award, the Barry Cohen Award for Excellence in Photography, and a NYFA grant. Daylight Books published Murray’s first monograph All The Queens Men in 2013, and Ordinary Matter was recently released by ASMR4. Her work is in the collection of the Perez Art Museum, Miami, FL, The Museum of the City of New York, NY, The Yale Art Gallery, New Haven, CT, and The Museum of Modern Art Library Collection, NY.
