ICP is excited to work with a number of leading institutions around the world. Our partnerships range from co-creating fully-accredited programs to offering faculty and course guidance for an individual class. We also have affiliated schools where students can take classes at ICP as part of their degree program.
ICP Partner Programs
Pace University
Pace and ICP offer two summer programs. The Make It Here Summer Intensive Program gives undergraduate students the opportunity to spend three weeks in New York City immersed in photographic imagemaking. The Summertime Stories: Telling Stories through Digital Photography & Printmaking program is a 2-week summer course for pre-college students.
Affiliated Schools
Students who are enrolled in these affiliated schools can take photography classes at ICP as part of their degree. To learn if you qualify, it is best to contact your school directly.
Barnard College
All students currently enrolled in Barnard College are eligible to take up to two ICP classes per semester (excluding special courses such as travel courses or individual mentorships). Students will consider photography's role in sociology, journalism, scientific research, and the fine arts. In addition, through these classes, students may have access to ICP’s photo labs and darkroom. The partnership is made possible by generous support from the Milbank Fund for Photography.
St. John's University, BFA Photography
The St. John's University BFA degree program in Photography introduces students to a variety of possibilities within the photographic field and further allows them to structure their photographic studies towards their career goals. Photography majors are required to take ninety-six credits in art and photography, of which thirty-six credits are taken during their junior year at ICP.
Pace University
The Pace-ICP Program offers seven undergraduate courses that combine studio practice at ICP with writing, publishing, and portfolio development for Pace University students. These courses compliment the photo curriculum offered on the Manhattan campus of Pace University where the university offers a BA and BFA in photography and other studio and digital media practices.
