Help support our student community by donating your used camera equipment to the International Center of Photography! Bring your equipment to the ICP library on Friday, February 16 (4–7 PM) and Saturday, February 17 (10 AM–2 PM) to donate. As a thank you our community, we are pleased to offer ICP memberships to individuals whose equipment is accepted.
We welcome functioning equipment of all kinds:
- Cameras
- Lenses
- Flashes
- Studio lighting equipment
- Camera bags
- Tripods
We particularly welcome:
- Analogue camera gear, which is in high demand among our students and increasingly difficult to come by
- Digital DSLR/Mirrorless cameras from 2019 or newer
Equipment that meets our quality standards and aligns with our students' needs will be integrated into our equipment room, directly benefiting our student population. Any surplus items will be made available to our community through an equipment sale from March 1st to March 3rd, with proceeds reinvested into acquiring new gear for our students.
As a way to show appreciation for our community members who are able to assist, ICP will provide a complimentary one-year Individual Membership to individuals who donate equipment. Additionally, ICP will provide an acknowledgement letter for donations upon request.
Please note: While we deeply appreciate all donations, ICP reserves the right to decline items that do not meet our needs or quality standards. For tax purposes, ICP cannot estimate the value of donated materials. Donors have to provide their own estimated value and must have an external appraiser estimating the value for equipment exceeding $5,000 as well as complete an IRS 8283 form.
Thank you for your support in nurturing the next generation of photographers at ICP!
