ICP’s modern and bright space, designed by Gensler, reunites its school and museum, creating an engaging space for museum goers, ICP members, students, and the Lower East Side community to explore how images shape our understanding of the world.

The 1,235-square-foot lobby of ICP is a unique setting
for small receptions and intimate talks and book signings

ESSEX & LUDLOW GALLERIES

Maximum capacity: 400 guests (standing)
Location: 2nd Floor
ICP’s main galleries feature double-height ceilings and
floor-to-ceiling street-facing windows.
This space is ideal for accommodating large events and
receptions.

3rd FLOOR GALLERY

Maximum capacity: 300 guests standing, 200
seated
Location: 3rd Floor
The third-floor gallery, featuring floor-to ceiling-
windows that look onto the main galleries, is ideal for
receptions and mid-size gatherings.
Includes access to ICP’s catwalk gallery.
